Trish Ansell

I grew up in Mullumbimby and now live in South Grafton. I studied Art Education at City Art Institute and Graphic Design at Randwick TAFE, in Sydney. I worked as a Graphic Designer in Publishing for 20 years before leaving the Industry to become a Mother and then a Carer to my Mother.

I am now happily focused on being an Artist and Designer, and a Volunteer Member of the Iluka Emporium.

My Art and Design heroes are Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky, Sonia Delaunay and Lucienne Day. I am inspired by the beauty of the nature in Iluka, and the Clarence Valley. I also take inspiration from everything from Scandinavian Design to Indigenous Australian Art.
