Annie Roberts

I am an Artist and a Teacher, and a creator of ‘PERFECTLY IMPERFECT’ art and objects. I find everyday life and creating are interwoven and inseparable. Each one influences and inspires the other continually.

 

Consequently my Artmaking, whatever the artform are visual responses to the people, places and objects in my everyday life.

Some objects or places appear in my work on a recurring basis, such as cups, fish, and are almost personal symbols.

The flora and fauna and unique landscapes within the Clarence Valley is constantly in my peripheral vision colouring my view.

Having the background of a Visual Art teacher, I work in a variety of artforms; Painting, Printmaking and Ceramics.
