Photographer - Steve Haynes

“I am 71 years old and started photography back in the early 70's when I bought my first real camera.

I then enrolled in a photography course. Learning lots about the camera and taking pictures. Starting in the beginners course, I progressed through to intermediate and then advanced. I also did mainly sports photography.  Prominently motor racing, circuit racing, off-road and speedway (bikes and sidecars).

But work got in the way and I didn't pick up a camera until about 2 years ago, when I got my first digital SLR.

So I had to teach myself all over again. So different from the old film cameras I am used to.

I am retired and use my photography as therapy. Helps get me out of bed as they say.”
