Having been brought up with the appreciation of the natural world, I am absolutely delighted that I have found an art form to interpret natural materials.
Having had a taste of eco printing through a local art group, I have continued to experiment and have enjoyed the alchemy of the process.
My Story
Originally from the Shire of Oxford (UK) I first fell in love with the wildflowers of Western Australia and the magnificent Tingle and Karri trees. Having been brought up with the appreciation of the natural world, I am absolutely delighted that I have found an art form to interpret natural materials.
My life has been filled with family and children, of which I have two boys and four grandchildren. Now in my twilight years I am grateful to have found my home in Iluka.
I have never dabbled/played/expressed in my own art expression journey, but mainly supported many young children with their creative pursuits in a pre-school environment. Having had a taste of eco printing through a local art group, I have continued to experiment and have enjoyed the alchemy of the process.
It is with great pleasure and appreciation that I have become part of the Iluka Emporium collective.
