Iluka Emporium is proud to exhibit this collection of bird and animal paintings by Vicki, who also a talented pet portrait artist.   

 

In the words of the artist “I’ve lived in the Clarence Valley for over 40 years and am pleased to show my art in the Iluka Emporium. I grew up on a farm in the Tweed Valley and have always had a love of animals.

 

I paint animals and birds and present a realistic and familiar style for the viewer. I work with acrylic paint on canvas but also do unique pieces from non-rust recycled metal and present them in various ways. They are quite different.

 

My commissions for pet portraits enable me to capture the pets’ expression and eye detail, a lasting memory for their owners, a smile, a tear, but always loved.

 

I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it.”
