​​Our Feature Artist for February 2025 is the talented Christopher Damien Soful Thorne from Brisbane..

What a stunning display of color, of thoughtful images showing life, our planet and relationship with it. Chris is a

Self taught artist who grew up in Redlands and Logan in Queensland.   He uses mixed media to explore life and its
many stories through a range of perspectives and styles.
Chris says " I pull inspiration from life; it’s challenges, it’s beauty, it’s frailty, it’s transformations, it’s wonders,
it’s secrets and truths.
I explore these inspiring states through working with the land, with community, training martial
arts and creating art with my heart, hands and time.

My full range of works include pencils, pastels, paint, charcoal, ink, found natural
objects/materials, building materials and more."
